PRINCE GEORGE — Travelers are set to benefit due to a new partnership forged between the Prince George Public Library (PGPL) and the Prince George Airport (YXS).

The partnership will bring free digital books, audiobooks, and magazines directly to travelers. All passengers need to do is sign up for a free PGPL library card where they’ll have instant access to the Library’s digital collection while waiting for a flight, travelling, or upon arrival by using their electronic device. No visit to the Library is required, and the service is free.

“We all know that travel often comes with waiting,” said Steve Hamilton, Manager of Communications & Engagement at PGPL. “This partnership turns that down time into something meaningful. Whether you are at the gate, in the air, or on the beach, your Library is right there with you.”

The PGPL says the partnership reflects its commitment to meeting people where they are, and making reading and learning accessible beyond traditional library spaces.
