Man accused of setting CrossRoads fire pleads guilty

PRINCE GEORGE — The man arrested for starting the fire at CrossRoads Brewing in September has pleaded guilty.
The BC Prosecution Service confirms that 57-year-old Richard Titchener pleaded guilty Monday (Jan.12) in Prince George Provincial Court. Titchener will be sentenced on April 7.
The fire started just after 3 a.m. on September 5 and destroyed the building, located at 5th Avenue and George Street.
Titchener has a lengthy criminal history including a charge of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm back in June for which he was sentenced to 88 days in jail.
