UNBC once again one of B.C’s top employers

PRINCE GEORGE – Mediacorp’s annual top employers in British Columbia competition is complete and the results have been released for 2026.
The University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC) has once again made the list of the Provinces top employers marking their 12th appearance since 2012. UNBC made the list for top level initiatives that include celebrating professional achievements and career milestones in addition to comprehensive parental leave programs. Another positive for UNBC employees is educational incentives which include tuition waivers for employees and their families.
The Top employers competition evaluates organizations with primary offices in the Province across eight criteria including employee communications, performance management and work atmosphere. UNBC was the only employer headquartered in Prince George to be included on this years list.
