Not your typical Valentine’s Day cards. Nor are they from your typical sources. The Wildlife Club and Fisheries Club both were set up at UNBC to do their part for the special day. It’s an event that has been organized by the Northern Undergraduate Student Society (NUGSS).

“We started it as not only a way for students to grab their last minute gifts, but also for students who live on campus who don’t want to travel downtown,” explains Zoey Thom-Lucy, Social & Events Coordinator for NUGSS.
In case you’re wondering, SLO’s are Student Lead Organizations, of which there are many on campus … a few of which were represented here.
“We have the fisheries Club. We have the presentation practice club, the book club. We have the Wildlife Society and the stem cell club.”
With Valentine’s Day around the corner, it’s time to think about what you may want to woo that special person on this day, just for sweethearts.
