PRINCE GEORGE — The City of Prince George says they have launched a workforce survey to better understand the experiences, challenges, and needs of local employers and workforce participants.

According to a news release from the City:

“The survey seeks input from employers as well as workforce participants, including both employed and unemployed individuals. Topics include workforce experiences, barriers to labour force participation, and the types of programs, services, and supports that could strengthen engagement in the local labour market.”

“The last in-depth workforce analysis was updated in 2024, and a lot has changed in Prince George since then,” said economic development manager, Deklan Corstanje, “while we regularly monitor certain indicators, community input will play an important role in shaping future workforce‑related initiatives in Prince George. Findings from the survey will help inform workforce planning, policy development, and potential program opportunities for our division.”
