City launches new online traffic disruptions map

PRINCE GEORGE — The City of Prince George has launched a new tool to help residents navigate the city.
The new online traffic disruptions map allows resident to see current and upcoming closures, detours, and other disruptions. The interactive map will replace the notice of traffic and pedestrian network disruption daily notifications, which were sent to subscribers by email.
In addition to being more user-friendly than previous traffic notices, the map also integrates with GPS systems more easily. This ensures the most up-to-date traffic information is available for residents, emergency services, and transit providers. Map users can click on a disruption on the map to find out more information, what lanes are affected, the reason, and the estimated start and end time.
