PRINCE GEORGE — Mounties need your help after two paramedics were injured while on the job today (April 2).

As of 7:30 p.m. Thursday night, Prince George RCMP were on the scene of a motor vehicle incident that took place at approximately 4:00 p.m., on the 6000-block of First Avenue.

“The investigation is still in the early stages, but what we do know is that an object entered a passing ambulance through the window, striking one of the two paramedics. We are asking that anyone in that area who witnessed the event or who has dash camera footage capturing the incident please contact the non-emergency line to speak with police,” states Corporal Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.

Both paramedics were taken to the hospital for treatment of their non-life-threatening injuries.
