Former Kodiaks President speaks out regarding “false and untrue” allegations
PRINCE GEORGE – There has been a lot of discussion surrounding the Prince George Kodiaks after the organization shuffled its board and fired former head coach Jamie Boreham. Amid these discussions has come allegations against former-President Craig Briere, and he spoke out to discuss what he says are “false and untrue accusations.”
“It’s been probably one of the toughest times in my life for the last six weeks. You’re not only having to navigate through all these untrue and false statements that really have impacted my personal and my professional life, it’s also the people around me that have also been impacted by it,” Briere said.
Briere says he reported the allegations and threats made against him to RCMP, with Prince George RCMP confirming an investigation has concluded. Briere also continued to retain legal counsel, as he says this situation had him worried for his family’s and his own safety.
