It’s been the talk of the town in Prince George, as many heard fighter jets taking off from the Prince George airport Thursday night, and early on Friday.
The Prince George Airport Authority confirmed four F35 U.S. fighter jets made a quick stop in Prince George on a refueling trip on their way to Anchorage, Alaska. Two more F35s were in Prince George early on Friday as well.
While the Airport Authority could confirm the jets were on their way to Anchorage, it said it didn’t know where specifically they came from.
