Canada thumps Finland 10-4 at world mixed doubles curling championship
GENEVA — Canada’s Colton and Kadriana Lott earned their second win of the world mixed doubles curling championship on Sunday, defeating Finland 10-4.
After falling behind 3-0 after the opening end, the Canadians scored five in the the second followed by two in the third and one in the fourth to swiftly take an 8-3 lead.
After the Finns answered with one in the fifth, Canada tacked on another two in the sixth before Finland conceded the final two ends.
Canada is set to face the United States later on Sunday in Group B play.
