Romanian defenseman commits to Spruce Kings

PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Spruce Kings have announced the commitment of 2007-born defenseman Cristian Achim for next season.

Achim is 6’4, 194 pounds and was born in Bucharest, Romania but has developed his game mostly within the German hockey system.

He spent the last two seasons with EV Landshut U20, scoring 12 goals and adding 35 assists in 74 games, while also skating in eight pro games for the Erding Gladiators.

The club describes him as “an elite level defenseman who can excel in all areas.”
