UNBC’s Dr. Gary Wilson awarded the Polar Medal

Dr. Gary Wilson, a political science professor at the University of Northern British Columbia, was recently awarded the Polar Medal for his contributions to raising awareness and understanding of Canada’s north and polar regions. His research has focused extensively on the evolution of self-government in the Inuit regions of the Canadian Arctic. Dr. Wilson joined us to talk more about his research and what the Polar Medal represents.
