Prince George RCMP seeking wanted woman considered dangerous

PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a woman wanted on multiple outstanding warrants.

As part of the detachment’s weekly Wanted Wednesday campaign, police are highlighting 27-year-old Mranda May Dumont. Investigators say Dumont is wanted on one endorsed and one unendorsed warrant related to several criminal offences.

The charges include theft under $5,000, breach of a release order, possession of a loaded restricted firearm, occupying a vehicle knowing a restricted firearm was present, possession of a firearm without a licence, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, contravention of weapon storage regulations, and two counts of driving while prohibited.

Police describe Dumont as standing five-foot-six and weighing approximately 130 pounds. She has blonde hair and brown eyes.
