Trio of suspicious incidents has School Board preaching caution

PRINCE GEORGE — A few suspicious incidents have happened in the last week near Heritage Elementary School. Two involved a man in a white truck, the first took place last Tuesday and the other this past Monday. A third matter came up Wednesday morning regarding what is being described as a youth following a student and yelling at them.

School District 57 and RCMP are working together on the issues. Notices have been sent to parents from Heritage Elementary warning them of the incidents and the School Board said proper action has been taken.

Parents are asked to remind their children about stranger danger and to tell an adult or call RCMP if they find themselves in a suspicious incident.
