Another suspicious incident near Heritage Elementary

PRINCE GEORGE — Mounties are investigating another suspicious incident near Heritage Elementary School.

Police say the latest incident occurred yesterday (Feb.25) outside the school at around 2:45 p.m.

Prince George RCMP Cpl. Sonja Blom says police received a report of an adult male driving a white truck telling a student to get in his truck.

“The child did not respond and immediately departed the area,” she says. 

She notes this occurrence has details similar to an incident that happened on Feb.19 in the same area noting in both instances a white truck was involved along with a white man with short hair and a beard. (See previous story here).

Blom says the investigation is ongoing and is asking any witnesses to call police at (250) 561-3300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
