Hometown dream realized in debut
PRINCE GEORGE- For Prince George’s Kadric Mujcin, Wednesday night was more than just another hockey game. It was the realization of a childhood dream as the local product made his Western Hockey League debut with the Prince George Cougars in front of family, friends, and hometown fans at the CN Centre.
The 16-year-old forward has spent the last few seasons developing in Prince George’s minor hockey system while also gaining valuable experience around the Cougars organization through practices and call-ups.
Cougars Assistant Coach Carter Rigby says having a local prospect in the system has been unique for both the player and the team.
