PRINCE GEORGE- Elementary students from Heritage Elementary went above and beyond to help one former Canadian Paralympian.
Josh Dueck was supposed to attend Winterfest with Mike Shaw and perform a sit ski demonstration for the public. Unfortunately, Josh’s father passed away and he was unable to attend WinterFest.
Classes from Heritage Elementary heard about what happened and the students felt such empathy for Josh’s loss that they took up a collection and raised $175 to donate to a charity of Josh’s choice in his father’s name.
