PRINCE GEORGE - Westjet says one of its planes made an emergency landing in Prince George this morning.

Flight 3205 was en route from Fort St John to Vancouver when the crew was alerted by a fire detection warning light.  As a precaution, it landed at YXS, without incident around 7:00 am.

Once on the ground, an inspection of the plane revealed the signal was false and there was no fire.

Another plane is being brought in to ferry the passengers to Vancouver to complete their flight.  There were no injuries reported.
