Great Season for Winter Recreation

PRINCE GEORGE – Winter athletes young and old took advantage of the great snow and cool temperatures this season. 

The Hart Ski Hill has been open for 83 days so far and its hoped to make it to 100. 

For the first time in several years, the ski hill will be open for Spring Break.  The new snow machine is keeping up the base of the hill through the warm days. 

The plus side temperatures aren’t great however for the Outdoor Ice Oval which has had to shut down for the season due to the warmth. 

The Outdoor Oval was open for 98 days with 16-thousand visitors this winter season.
