3 Years In The Making: Special Olympians Nationals-Bound After Long Wait

Most sporting postseasons are pretty straight forward. You win the playoffs, you get to provincials; if you win those you’re likely on your way to nationals. The Special Olympics schedule works differently. You do have to continue to win, but each event is a year apart, meaning the three athletes taking off to nationals this month have been a few years in the making.
