Officials Investigating Early Morning Fire

PRINCE GEORGE-  Fire crews from three halls responded to a fire at a home on the 1900 block of Redwood Street this morning around 6:30. When crews arrived they found smoke coming from a basement window, they quickly gained access to the home and extinguished a mattress fire. Nobody was home at the time and nobody was injured. Fire officials say damage was minimal, but continue to investigate the cause.
