Many teams in the next week, taking off to represent different regions of our province at the BC Summer Games, but another Prince George athlete has earned a roster spot on Team BC for a national tournament. Braden Reed just completed his grade 11 year with the PGSS Polars. The winners of this year’s PG Bowl used Reed as a running back, but his spot on Team BC at the upcoming Canada Cup in Calgary is that of a linebacker. The provincial team gets underway under the lights on Sunday from Calgary, where Reed and the rest of Team BC will take on the host team Alberta in front of a sold out crowd that will determine their ranking for the tournament.
