PRINCE GEORGE – There are signs the wildfire season is finally coming to an end in north central BC.  Cooler temperatures and higher humidity values are being reported as the summer draws to a close.  That’s helping wildfire crews get some wildfires under control.

The Cariboo Regional District has downgraded the evacuation order for the 10 properties in the Kluskus area to an evacuation alert.  That means residents can return to the area immediately.  however several other areas remain on evacuation orders, under threat from the Shag Creek wildfire.
