HIGHLIGHTS: Cougars End Losing Streak

LETHBRIDGE – The Prince George Cougars found a way out of their four-game losing streak in Lethbridge on Saturday. 

The Hurricanes took the first lead in the game but Prince George came back quickly with two goals from Captain Josh Curtis. With one second left in the second period, Lethbridge tied it up 2-2. Tyson Upper and Cole Moberg came out strong in the third period both scoring their first goals of the season. Isaiah DiLaura was on the list of firsts as well as he picked up his first win this season, stopping 49-shots in the Cougars crease. The two teams put on a show for fans in the third period. The Cougars and Hurricanes combined for six goals in the final minutes of the game. At one point, the two teams scored four goals in just one minute and 27-seconds. The game ended in a shoot-out in the Cougars favour, the final score was 6-5 for Prince George.
