PRINCE GEORGE – “Wow. Wow.”

That was what Prince George-Valemount MLA Shirley Bond repeated over and over upon hearing the results of the electoral reform referendum. Over 60 percent voted to keep the current, First Past The Post system.

“I’m glad to see that it was a strong number, 61 percent. I feel a sense of relief and a sense that British Columbians have spoken. It’s an interesting outcome.”

Prince George-Mackenzie MLA Mike Morris was all smiles in his office.
