The Prince George Spruce Kings return home after a three game weekend road trip with a 1-2 record. The Spruce Kings kicked off the road trip Friday night in Penticton with a hard fought 3-2 shootout loss. The Kings then bounced back Saturday night with a 4-1 win over Vernon. The final game of the road trip yesterday afternoon saw the Kings in West Kelowna taking on the Warriors. The Kings outshot the Warriors 45-24 but ended up losing 6-1.

The Spruce Kings record in January now stands at 2-6. They will wrap up the month of January at home this weekend with a back to back against the Coquitlam Express.
