Timberwolves Finish Weekend Against UBC

The Timberwolves basketball teams wrapped a 2 game weekend set against UBC last night. Both the men and women came out on the losing end last night.

The men lost 88-73 with Vova Pluzhnikov leading the Timberwolves in scoring with 21 points. UBC was led by Grant Shephard who scored 24 points on 10-11 shooting. The UBC Thunderbirds are now 17-1 on the season and have won 16 in a row while the Timberwolves are 8-10.

The women also lost last night by a score of 93-79. The women split their two games against UBC after winning Friday night. Madison Landry and Vasiliki Louka led the Timberwolves with 19 points each. Maddison Penn had a team-high 20 points for the Thunderbirds.

Both the men and women Timberwolves teams will return home this weekend and face the Lethbridge Pronghorns.
