The Kings rolled past the Coquitlam Express 4-2 Friday night to capture their sixth win in a row.

Ben Brar's 28th goal of the year on the power play opened the scoring late in the first as the Kings led 1-0 after one.  Coquitlam's Jared Power scored the only goal in the second shorthanded to make it 1-1 after 40 minutes of play.

The third period saw four goals total, three by the Kings and one by the Express. Nicholas Poisson scored the King's second powerplay goal of the night before Pito Walton scored for the Express to tie the game back up 2-2.

Liam Watson-Brawn put the Kings ahead for good with an unassisted shorthanded goal with under three minutes to go. Dustin Manz added an empty netter to make it a 4-2 final.

The win puts the King's second overall in the league but they are still seven points behind Chilliwack for first in both the mainland division and league overall.

The Kings will play game two of their road trip Saturday night in Langley before wrapping up the three-game trip in Surrey Sunday.
