The Timberwolves colours are green and gold, so it only makes sense that Surrey's Lexy Green suit up for them next year. The speedy Surrey forward has committed to UNBC for the 2019-2020 season, as soon as she graduates from Elgin Park Secondary in June. The 17-year-old has visited the UNBC campus twice, and noted the close-knit environment as crucial in her decision. The honour roll student plans to study molecular biology during her time at school. Green is also a competitive horseback rider. Standing at just 5’5, Green uses her speed, not her size to gain an advantage. She'll be joining the Timberwolves in August for Training Camp.
