UPDATE: RCMP locate missing Prince George man

PRINCE GEORGE —Update: The Prince George RCMP says it has located Marlon Arscott and that he is safe.

Investigators would like to thank the members of the public that assisted with this investigation.

Earlier: Mounties are seeking the public’s help in locating missing Prince George man Marlon Hugh Arscott.

Police say the 59-year-old has not been since April 9 and note he has health concerns and is not currently taking his medication.

As a result, police say not to approach Arscott if you see him and to call police instead.

Arscott is described as:

  • White
  • Five feet 11
  • 270 pounds
  • Brown eyes
  • White hair and beard
  • Has missing fingers
  • Possibly wearing blue jeans, grey t-shirt and a blue sweater

Police do not believe Arscott has access to any vehicles though he is known to hitchhike long distances such as Fort St. James, Vancouver and the Yukon.
