Downtown Arts Strategy on city council’s agenda

PRINCE GEORGE — The arts will be one of dominant themes to the regular meeting of Council this evening.

First, Council will get an update on the Downtown Arts Strategy, which will look at the feasibility of an art space in the downtown.

Secondly, to that end, Council will be asked to transfer funds from the Performing Arts Centre Society and establish an reserve for the Community Arts Council.

Council is also expected to direct City administration to develop a report outlining the requirements and potential impacts of regulating the business use of single use plastic bags in the City.
