Speakers announced for TEDxUNBC

PRINCE GEORGE–This fall entrepreneurs, scientists, educators and a performing artist will take the stage at the Canfor Theatre at UNBC.

TEDxUNBC will see ten speakers discuss the 2019 theme of, Past the Future, what the future might look like. “We have a wonderful slate of speakers, a mix that complements the entire University from faculty and alumni to students and community members,” said co-organizer Kirk Walker adding that it wasn’t easy to select the speakers this year.

The event will take place on Oct.5 with tickets selling $100 each.

The speakers include:

• Daryl Hatton: Founder and CEO of FundRazr
• James Steidle: Worked in Legislative Assembly and the Canadian Labour Congress. Started his own woodworking company.
• Brittany Doncaster: Mental Health and Addictions clinician
