Someone diagnosed with COVID-19 at LNG work camp

KITIMAT — There’s been a confirmed case of COVID-19 at a major industrial work site in northern B.C.
LNG Canada says an employee at its future export facility in Kitimat has tested positive and is self isolating at home with mild symptoms.
The company informed its workforce of the case on March 28 and said Northern Health has taken steps to inform any potential contacts.
LNG Canada says it had already scaled back its workforce on the project by 65 per cent in recent days and is currently only conducting essential work.
