Local Filmmaker says Netflix-BANFF Diversity of Voices Initiative, one step closer to reigniting local film industry
PRINCE GEORGE—You may’ve heard his name before, Norm Coyne, a local filmmaker is one of 100 Canadians to participate in the 2020 Netflix BANFF Diversity of Voice Initiative.
The Netflix-BANFF Diversity of Voices Initiative offers a springboard for 100 Francophone, Indigenous, women and non-binary creators and producers from across Canada.

“The program offers training and mentorship that will provide me the opportunity to forge strong professional connections with industry executives to raise awareness, and potentially funding, for current and future projects in northern BC,” says Coyne.
