Sewing Camps at Theatre NorthWest will go on
PRINCE GEORGE—The sound of needles puncturing fabric will once again be heard at Theatre NorthWest this summer, as they’ve announced they will continue with their summer sewing camps.
The sewing camps have happened annually for the past three years at the theatre, teaching children, youth and adults sewing skills.
“We are absolutely committed to the health and safety of all our students and staff associated with sewing camps.”—Marnie Hamagami, Executive Director, Theatre NorthWest
“We have been working hard to develop a health and safety plan that is tailored to our programme and space. We also know that sewing campers are ready to sit in one spot and work on their projects. Our Camps are inherently based on an individual activity. So, we felt that moving forward was the right thing for us,” adds Hamagami.
