Ramsay and Beckett acclaimed to NCLGA Executive

PRINCE GEORGE — The North Central Local Government Association (NCLGA) announced its newly acclaimed President, Executive and Directors at Large at its Annual General Meeting July 3.

The new president is Fraser Lake Mayor Sarrah Storey. Prior to becoming the NCLGA President, she served as an NCLGA Director, Second Vice President and First Vice President.

Also acclaimed to the Executive was First Vice President, Cori Ramsay, Prince George City Councillor. Ramsay was previously the Second Vice President.

The Second Vice President is Steve Forseth, Director in the Cariboo Regional District. He was formerly Director at Large.

Past President is Lara Beckett, Director in the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George. She was formerly President.

Established in 1955, the NCLGA is the advocacy body for Local Government officials in North Central British Columbia. As a non-partisan, non-profit association, the NCLGA aspires to provide a voice for communities whose voices are often left unheard because of their size or location.
