Pandemic continues to shift shopping habits

PRINCE GEORGE – As grocery shopping remains a necessity during this pandemic and some stores may be temporarily out of certain products.

There continues to be a demand for certain products and a change in the spending habits of consumers as they adapt to the pandemic.

During this months-long pandemic, customers are purchasing most of their food from grocery stores, and many stores have changed its hours to help slow the spread of COVID-19 Owner of PGI Market On 5th Karen Pruden says she has seen an upsurge in lotto ticket sales.

According to UNBC economics lecturer Charles Scott, some people are adapting to a reality that is less robust than they are used to be and hoping to win it big on the lottery.
