Ultra low-fare carrier set to serve Prince George

PRINCE GEORGE — An ultra low-fare airline has announced it will serve Prince George.

Edmonton-based Flair Airlines will offer service from Prince George to Edmonton and Vancouver twice a week starting next month.

As Canada begins to reopen and travel demands increase, Flair says its here to provide affordable and safe air travel.

Spokesperson Jamina Kotak tells CKPG Today that tickets for flights are on sale now and will begin Aug. 23.

Flair will also begin serving the communities of Fort McMurray, Regina, Saskatoon and Victoria.

“We continuously receive requests from our passengers to service these communities,” says Jim Scott, CEO. “Many of these areas are experiencing reduced accessibility, and we know that Canadians need affordable air fares now more than ever. We are committed to supporting these communities across the country as they safely reopen to travel.”
