Aug 13, 2020 | 2:43 PM

100 MILE HOUSE–RCMP are requesting the public’s help in locating a missing man.

73-year-old Barry Lannon was last seen on August 12, at around 4 p.m., by family. Lannon suffers from dementia and is believed to have wandered away from his residence on Bryce Road in the Community of Forest Grove, B.C.

Lannon is described as:

  • white male
  • 5’10”
  • 170 lbs
  • green eyes
  • grey hair

The area around the property consists of dirt roads and forest. Lannon was last seen wearing a grey short-sleeved –shirt, blue jeans, blue vest and hiking shoes. Police say he is in good physical health and is an avid walker.

The police are asking the public to not self deploy to assist Search and Rescue efforts and to stay away from the area Barry was last seen. As any un-asked for help may hinder the search efforts in the area he was last seen. If search officials require further resources from the public, a request will be issued with information on where to meet.

Anyone with information on Lannon’s whereabouts is asked to contact 100 Mile House RCMP at 250-395-2456.
