31 new cases of COVID-19 in Northern Health

VICTORIA — The British Columbia government has announced 427 new cases of COVID-19 in B.C., 31 in the Northern Health region.

Here’s the regional breakdown:

• Vancouver Coastal Health: 90
• Fraser Health: 236
• Island Health: 18
• Interior Health: 47
• Northern Health: 31

Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry says there are 4,150 active cases of the virus, 232 people are in hospital, 63 of whom are in intensive care.

Sadly, three new deaths for a total of 1,317.

Since the pandemic began, there have been 74,710 cases of COVID-19 in B.C. Of those, 69,167 people have recovered.
