Anti-vaccine protest outside of CKPG Broadcast Centre
PRINCE GEORGE — Residents opposed to the B.C. government’s vaccine certificate card system, and vaccines in general, are expressing their opinions outside CKPG Broadcast Centre.
Protesters arrived at around 9:30 a.m. Saturday (Sept. 4) morning, and there were about 80 to 100 people near noon.
Protesters ranging from children to seniors held signs that displayed anti-vaccine, freedom to choose, “My Body My Choice,” and People’s Party of Canada messages.
RCMP have not arrived on scene and there is no estimated time when the protest will finish. The protest is described as peaceful, despite some angry stares towards Broadcast Centre workers. A few passing cars have honked their horns in support.
