The spirit of giving becomes an afterthought.

PRINCE GEORGE – The holiday season wrapped up a few weeks ago, and for some, the spirit of giving becomes an afterthought.

Keeping the food shelves stocked at the Salvation Army becomes a challenge during this time of year.

At times the food bank gets put into the background during January and February.

The Salvation Army asks the public to help fill the shelves through a community food drive scheduled for next week.
