Man in his 20s killed and female passenger seriously injured in 2 vehicle MVI south of Dawson Creek

DAWSON CREEK —One person was killed and another person seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash south of Dawson Creek yesterday (April 4).

BC Highway Patrol responded to the collision just before 1:30 p.m. on Highway 2 near Toms Lake.

“Upon arrival, it was determined that a southbound black Ford Escape entered the oncoming lane and collided with a northbound grader,” says Cpl. Mike Halskov.

“The driver of the Ford, a man believed to be in his twenties, was killed in the collision. The passenger, believed to be a woman in her twenties, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.”
