Timberwolves men beat nationally ranked Thunderbirds

PRINCE GEORGE – The UNBC Timberwolves men’s basketball team is back to the winning column after winning 88-69 against the nationally ranked UBC Thunderbirds, last light (Jan. 19).

Veteran Chris Ross was the star of the night. He reached a new career high with 28 points and matched a previous career best with six successful threes. He added 12 rebounds, two steals and two blocks, winning the Mr. Mike’s Player of the Game honour. Meanwhile, Josh Gillespie also had an amazing performance with 17 points and 15 rebounds.

The TWolves and T-Birds meet again tonight at 7 p.m.
