Show N Shine revs up Prince George on Father’s Day

PRINCE GEORGE— The 45th Father’s Day Show N Shine brought out hundreds of classic cars, and even more people to Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park.

Some car owners attended the first Show N Shine 45 years ago, including 1958 Ford Ranch Wagon owner Gerry Parker. He hopes the event will keep younger generations interested in old cars like his.

“We hope that the next generation will care enough to not just buy Toyota four doors and we want them to hop stuff up,” Parker says.

It seems that classic cars won’t be going out of style any time soon. People of all ages came out to the car show, with many saying they will be coming back every Father’s Day.
