Ahac and Neaton, Spruce King duo drafted to NHL

PRINCE GEORGE–After a season to remember, two Spruce Kings players have been chosen to take one step further into their hockey careers.

Defenceman Layton Ahac, and goalie Logan Neaton have been drafted to the NHL. Ahac by the Vegas Golden Knights and and Neaton by the Winnipeg Jets.

First to be chosen, Layton Ahac was picked in the third round in NHL drafts, he had 32 points in 53 games with the Kings and has committed to Ohio state University in the NCAA for next season.

Neaton is bound for Winnipeg after being chosen in round five of the draft. The 20-year-old posted a sub-2 goals against average and a .914 save percentage.
