Cariboo cats do their part to fight breast cancer

PRINCE GEORGE–The Cariboo Cougars host the Vancouver Northeast Chiefs tomorrow (Saturday) at 4 p.m. in Kin 1 in the club’s fifth annual Pink in the Rink game,a fundraiser for breast cancer research .Admission will be by donation and a 50/50 draw will start at $1,000, courtesy of The Taba Group, a mine services company based in Fort St. James. There will also be a special Chuck A Puck contest, with more than $400 in prizes available.The Cougars will be wearing special jerseys trimmed in pink, the symbolic colour of breast cancer. The teams will also face off on Sunday at 10:30 a.m.
