Eagles soar past Spruce Kings, 3-0

SURREY — The Surrey Eagles beat the visiting Prince George Spruce Kings tonight, 3-0 at South Surrey Arena.
Cristophe Tellier scored the winner at 6:35 of the second period to secure the victory. Hassan Akl and Hudson Schandor also scored for Surrey.
The Eagles won despite being outshot 35-25 by Prince George. Reece Klassen picked up the shutout before 575 fans.
Prince George is back on the ice tomorrow night (Jan.25) in Chilliwack.
