The Cats score a dramatic win over the T-Birds

PRINCE GEORGE–A winning night for the Prince George Cougars, downing Seattle 6-4 in the opening game of their home doubleheader against the Thunderbirds.
Cougars’ forward Ethan Browne, capped off a three point night , scoring the game winner, with just over three minutes left in regulation.Vladislav Mikhalchuk, Tyson Upper, Cole Moberg, Josh Maser, and Connor Bowie also scored for the Cats.
Taylor Gauthier earned his 11th win, stopping 36 of 40 shots. Last night’s win, puts the Cats within eight points of the Thunderbirds for the final wildcard playoff spot in the Western Conference. Both teams hit the ice again tonight at 7.
