Throne Speech comes down tomorrow
PRINCE GEORGE – The Throne Speech will be delivered tomorrow at 2 p.m. by Lieutenant Governor Janet Auston.
“The government’s agenda is put forward, given by the Lieutenant Government on their behalf,” explains Jason Morris, UNBC Political Scientist. “It usually sets out general policy priorities for what the government feels will be addressed during the session.”
The budget that follows on February 18th will set out how the government plans to pay for that agenda.
But the dynamics of the political scene in BC could add some colour to this year’s Throne Speech and subsequent budget.
